Finom, a European fintech startup, is seeking a Principal Product Designer to set the design direction for Core Experience across the platform. This senior IC role offers scope to define what good looks like and ship impactful solutions alongside product, engineering, analytics and research.

You'll own designs end-to-end, turn complex financial workflows into accessible experiences, contribute to the design system, and collaborate across Europe in a hybrid/remote setup.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years in product design with direction beyond individual work.
• Portfolio demonstrates craft and defensible reasoning, not just polished screens.
• Hands-on design of native mobile apps (iOS/Android).
• Experience designing complex, multi-state platforms with permissions and cross-team dependencies.
• Comfortable challenging and being challenged by product, engineering, and research using data and business context.
• Fluent professional English.

Aufgaben

• Own design across the full product lifecycle from discovery to final implementation, QA and polish.
• Turn fintech and SMB workflows into clear, user-centered experiences using research and data.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, Analysts, and Designers to scope work, define outcomes, and ship high-quality solutions.
• Create design artifacts including flows, wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity mockups, and specs.
• Contribute to the design system and improve consistency, accessibility, and scalability.
• Support high-priority initiatives such as modular pricing, onboarding UX transformation, and AI Copilot features.
