Your Responsibilities
  • Writing a dissertation at the University of Graz in the field of Adult and Continuing Education
  • Collaborating on research projects in the field of Adult and Continuing Education
  • Independent publication and lecturing activities
  • Participation in the application process for third‑party funded projects
  • Independent teaching of courses and examinations in the Bachelor's programme in Educational Science, as well as collaboration on teaching and examination tasks of the Department of Educational Science
  • Supervision of students
  • Collaboration in organisational and administrative tasks as well as in evaluation measures
Your Profile
  • Above‑average degree in a major subject in educational science (Master’s) or comparable degree
  • Empirical and theoretical knowledge in the fields of adult and continuing education and adult learning
  • Basic skills in qualitative and/or quantitative methods of empirical research
  • Academic interest in addressing current research questions on, e.g. social transformation processes, including from a critical, historical and/or gender‑ and diversity‑reflective perspective
  • Sensitivity to gender‑specific issues
  • Excellent knowledge of German and competent knowledge of English for conferences and publications
  • Independent working style and initiative
  • Strong team and organisational skills
  • Interdisciplinary understanding
