Position Overview

As a Personal Lines Account Manager, you'll be responsible for managing a portfolio of retail insurance products including home, contents, motor, and strata policies. You'll work collaboratively with a team to deliver outstanding insurance solutions and build long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a main contact for client concerns and insurance needs across home, motor, contents, and strata products.
  • Liaise and negotiate with clients, underwriters, referral partners, and colleagues.
  • Handle enquiries and proactively identify coverage and renewal opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records across all aspects of insurance programs.
  • Process new business, renewals, endorsements, and other updates.
  • Handle quoting and general processing tasks as required.
  • Be a proactive, collaborative team member with a can‑do attitude.
What Skills and Qualifications will you Require?
  • Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in insurance broking or the insurance industry.
  • Strong understanding of retail insurance products, policy wording, and coverage comparison.
  • Experience managing personal lines accounts (home, motor, contents, strata).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail‑oriented with strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with broking systems such as Insight, OfficeTech, Sunrise, and SCTP (an advantage).
