Zusammenfassung

Hamburger Containerboard, a member of the Austrian Prinzhorn Group, seeks a Business Application Developer for the Containerboard IT team in Pitten. You will develop, maintain and modernize critical applications using Oracle Forms, Oracle Database and PL/SQL, addressing legacy environments and providing reliable technical solutions.

We offer a collaborative, internationally growing environment with 38 hours per week, flexitime and two days of home office.

Qualifikationen

• Solid experience in Oracle Forms development, with strong knowledge of Oracle Database and PL/SQL.
• Experience with Oracle Reports and/or Oracle APEX is advantageous.
• Familiarity with tools such as Git, Redmine, GitHub Copilot, or Claude Code is a plus.
• Experience with business-critical, legacy, or complex application environments.
• Strong documentation and knowledge-transfer abilities.
• English proficiency required; EU/Austrian work authorization is mandatory.

• Develop, maintain, support, and modernize business-critical applications based on Oracle Forms, Oracle Database, and PL/SQL.
• Work with legacy and complex application environments and provide reliable, sustainable technical solutions.
• Learn from a senior developer through structured knowledge transfer.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into practical enhancements and fixes.
• Troubleshoot issues and support day-to-day operations for stability.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and transfer materials.
• Leverage modern development tools and AI-assisted options when beneficial.
