We're looking for a hands‑on leader with a strong commitment to safety, operational excellence and people development to step into the role of Operations Leader at our Carole Park site.

About the Role

This full‑time position has overall responsibility for the daily operations of our site, with a strong focus on:

• Safety leadership and compliance.
• Quality control and continuous improvement.
• Manufacturing and production outputs.

You'll also champion a culture of safety first and customer service excellence.

Key Activities & Responsibilities

• Lead a proactive safety culture and ensure compliance.
• Oversee daily production schedules.
• Manage labour, equipment and material resources to achieve targets.
• Ensure SOP adherence, quality control and timely reporting.
• Drive collaboration between departments to maximise efficiency.
• Ensure lead times are met, resolve quality issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels.
• Lead, develop and retain team members.
• Embed quality into daily operations.
• Contribute to ISO audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Produce and coordinate regular operational and safety reports.

What You’ll Bring

• Proven leadership skills with a practical, hands‑on approach.
• Minimum of 3‑5 years of leadership experience.
• Strong planning, coordination and organisational skills.
• Background in manufacturing or industrial operations highly desirable, especially automotive or parts manufacturing.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic and commitment to continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Australian citizenship or permanent residency required.
