TGW Logistics offers an internship opportunity in the Test Engineering department to develop a sustainable concept for test data management in an industrial environment. You will design a central database solution for TGW test data, aiming to improve transparency, traceability and reusability of results with reference to real TGW systems and processes.

The role includes analyzing current data handling, deriving requirements, modeling data, evaluating technologies, and prototyping a test database

Qualifikationen

• Ongoing studies in computer science, software engineering, mechatronics or comparable.
• Strong interest in databases, software systems and technical testing processes.
• Basic knowledge of database technologies (e.g. SQL, data modeling) and ideally some programming experience.
• Analytical thinking skills as well as a structured, independent way of working.
• Interest in accompanying a practice-relevant topic from analysis to concept or prototype implementation.
• Enjoyment of the comprehensible preparation of technical content.
• Very good knowledge of German and good English skills.

As part of an internship (at least 3‑6 months), you will have the opportunity to write a project, bachelor’s or master’s thesis with TGW Logistics. The topic of the thesis refers to the development of a sustainable concept for the management of test data in an industrial, mechatronic environment. In the Test Engineering department, you will deal with how large amounts of test data from development, integration and system testing can be used efficiently, in a structured and sustainable way.

The aim of the thesis is the design and, depending on the scope, the prototypical implementation of a central database solution for test data that significantly improves the transparency, traceability and reusability of test results. A direct reference is made to real TGW systems, test benches and processes.

We offer an attractive salary in line with the market, depending on qualifications and professional experience. The minimum gross basic salary under the collective agreement on the basis of full‑time employment is 2 948 euros per month.
