Distalmotion SA in Switzerland is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for surgical robotic instruments to cover the full product lifecycle, from setting up new assembly lines to driving continuous improvement. The role interfaces with R&D, Quality, Supply Chain and external partners to ensure reliable, efficient manufacturing as volumes grow.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or process development in medical devices.
• Experience in precision mechanical assembly and equipment qualification.
• Knowledge of manufacturing statistics tools (Minitab or similar).
• CAD experience (SolidWorks or similar) is a plus.
• Fluent in English and French.

Aufgaben

• Provide engineering support to production, resolving deviations and quality events with root-cause analysis.
• Drive continuous improvement in production performance, improve process capability, yield, cycle time, and costs.
• Establish and maintain manufacturing documentation (process flows, pFMEAs).
• Review field complaints and contribute to corrective actions.
• Plan and execute IQ/OQ/PQ and equipment qualifications per ISO 13485.
• Voice manufacturing needs during product development for manufacturability.
