Thomson Reuters seeks a Manager of Software Engineering for the CoCounsel Legal Mobile & Desktop Apps. You will lead two teams (Mobile and Desktop), shape architecture (native vs cross‑platform), hire and develop engineers, and deliver the first native mobile and desktop experiences across iOS, Android, Windows, and Mac.

You will collaborate with Product and Design, integrate with backend services, and own quality across platforms, reporting to Head of Engineering for CoCounsel Legal.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, incl. 2+ years in leadership roles.
• Hands-on experience shipping production mobile or desktop apps in enterprise contexts.
• Understanding of mobile and desktop engineering challenges and distribution models.
• Proven ability to hire, develop and retain engineers across multiple teams.
• Experience integrating apps with cloud backends and REST/GraphQL APIs, incl. streaming/auth flows.
• Strong collaboration and clear communication across product, design, and backend teams.
• Ability to translate constraints into actionable product decisions.
