Zusammenfassung

Lonza in Visp seeks a maintenance mechanic to repair or replace malfunctioning equipment in a clean room and sterile environment, with preference for aseptic filling line experience.

You will perform functional tests, maintain records, and execute manufacturing activities to cGMP standards, troubleshoot equipment, and contribute to continuous improvements while coordinating with Plant Engineering.

Qualifikationen

• EFZ apprenticeship completed as a mechanic or related production role.
• Several years of experience as a mechanic is advantageous.
• Excellent interpretation of P&ID diagrams or drawings.
• Very good knowledge of German; English is an advantage.
• Independent and precise way of working.
• Customer-oriented and open to new ideas.
• Willing to work in 3-shifts, including Saturdays and on-call duty.

Aufgaben

• Repairing or replacing malfunctioning components and equipment in the clean room and sterile environment (aseptic filling line experience preferred).
• Performing functional tests and maintaining maintenance records.
• Execute manufacturing activities per cGMP, evaluate results, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.
• Eliminate faults in systems and open malfunction reports.
• Drive continuous improvements and coordinate with Plant Engineering.
• Coordinate work processes with team leaders; handle SAP, Cornerstone, DMS, and Office 365.

What you will do:

• Repairing or replacing malfunctioning components, parts, and other mechanical or electrical equipment in the clean room and sterile environment (experience with aseptic filling lines is preferrable)
• Performing functional tests to validate the effectiveness of repair work. Maintaining records of maintenance services and repairs
• Executes manufacturing activities in the area of Drug Product according to cGMP guidelines, ensuring batch execution, evaluating test results, resolving issues, troubleshoot manufacturing equipment and make recommendations for resolution
• Eliminating faults in the systems
• Open and track malfunction reports
• Continuous improvements
• Cooperate, advice and support Plant Engineering department
• Coordination of work processes in consultation with the team leaders
• Advanced handling of SAP, Cornerstone, DMS, Office 365.

What we are looking for:

• You have completed an EFZ apprenticeship as a mechanic or related profession (production mechanic, car mechanic, etc.)
• Several years of experience as a mechanic is an advantage.
• Excellent interpretation of P&ID diagrams or drawings.
• Very good knowledge of German is essential, English is an advantage
• Independent and precise way of working.
• You are customer-oriented and open to new ideas.
• Very good knowledge of English is essential, German is an advantage.
• Willing to work in 3-Shifts pattern, including Saturdays. Willing to be part of on call duty.
