About the Opportunity

On behalf of our client, an international industrial group, we are seeking an experienced accounting professional who is ready to move into a technical SAP career.

This is a genuine development opportunity for someone with a strong finance background who wants to grow, step by step, into the role of SAP FI/CO Inhouse Consultant, taking on international process responsibility across the group's divisions and companies.

You will start by building on your existing knowledge of accounting and controlling, learning how finance and SAP processes run across the group's international locations. Over time, you will become a central point of contact for SAP FI/CO, working closely with international finance teams and travelling to see, first-hand, how processes are lived out on the ground.

Key Responsibilities

Finance Process Development

• Analyse, document, and improve accounting and controlling processes across the group
• Support the harmonisation and standardisation of accounting and finance processes
• Act as the interface between the business, the SAP team, and external partners

International Collaboration & Travel

• Work closely with finance teams across the group's international companies
• Travel regularly to group locations to understand processes and identify improvements (approx. 20%, with more during onboarding)

SAP Development & Projects

• Contribute to the ongoing development of SAP FI/CO
• Support SAP projects, rollouts, and the group's live S/4HANA transformation
• Gather and evaluate business requirements from local teams across countries

Long-Term Growth

• Develop over time into a full SAP FI/CO Inhouse Consultant with international process ownership
• Progress toward a Process Owner role for accounting and finance processes at group level

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Several years of hands-on experience in accounting
• Strong understanding of Austrian accounting and finance processes
• Experience as an SAP Key User, or in a comparable interface role between the business and IT
• Knowledge of areas such as cost centre accounting, full/partial costing, product costing, or contribution margin accounting is an advantage
