The THQ Nordic group is an international publisher and developer of video games for PC and Console platforms. For our Publishing headquarters in Vienna we are looking for an IT Administrator. As an IT Administrator you’re responsible for setting up and maintaining server and client hardware and software in Windows and Linux environments, doing 1st and 2nd level support for technical problems within the company, working with the IT administrators of our development studios around Europe on group-wide set‑ups and keeping a good documentation of all your work.

Tasks
  • Monitoring and maintaining networks and servers.
  • Upgrading, installing and configuring hardware and software.
  • 1st and 2nd level support for IT related problems.
  • Implementing security protocols and procedures to prevent potential threats.>
  • Managing user accounts and access control.
  • Performing diagnostic tests and debugging procedures to optimize computer systems.
  • Working with IT administrators in other locations.
Requirements
  • A completed IT education or corresponding acquired sound IT knowledge.
  • At least three years experience in a similar role.
  • Extensive experience with IT systems, networks, and related technologies, especially Windows and Linux operating systems, Active Directory, Office365 and virtualization.
  • Solid knowledge of best practices in ITSM and security.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Very good English and German skills, both in oral and written form.
  • Willingness to travel, mostly within Europe around 10% of the working time.
