Zusammenfassung

Stryker Group invites a student in the technical/mechanical field to join a new product development team in Selzach, Switzerland. You will contribute to the design and development of Bone Plates, Screws, and External Fixators, while supporting documentation for CE and FDA compliance.

Strong CAD skills and English proficiency are essential for collaboration with international teams. The role emphasizes prototyping, testing, literature review, and applying clinical knowledge to current development

Qualifikationen

• Currently studying in technical/mechanical field (HF, FH, Uni, ETH).
• Interest in the medical device industry; first experience preferred.
• Good CAD skills; knowledge in FEA is an advantage.
• Analytical reasoning, proactive workstyle, and problem solving are valued.
• Very good English; German knowledge is an advantage.

• As a member of a new product development team you will gain in depth knowledge about Stryker's Trauma & Extremities portfolio. You will learn how our products like Bone Plates, Screws, External Fixators and many other products help improve people's life.
• Within cross functional & international teams you will work on projects with tasks such as idea generation, prototyping and testing.
• You will be involved in the design and development of Bone Plates, Screws and External Fixators as well as related instruments.
• In addition, you support the engineers in creating technical and quality related documentation, which are required based on CE- and FDA regulations for our industry.
• Using your scientific skills, you will perform literature search and review to apply clinical knowledge and testing towards current development.
