XpertDirect, based in Vienna, is seeking an Identity Platform Engineer to build authentication, authorization, and access infrastructure behind its cloud software platform.

This hands-on role blends software development, cloud infrastructure, and identity security, developing scalable identity services used across applications, APIs, and internal tools.

You'll work with Platform and Security teams to implement least-privilege and Zero Trust, deploying on Kubernetes and AWS.

Qualifikationen

• 4+ years in Platform Engineering, Identity Engineering, Backend Engineering, Cloud Security, or similar roles.
• Strong understanding of authentication, authorisation, APIs, and distributed systems.

Aufgaben

• Build authentication and authorisation services for cloud-native applications.
• Design secure identity flows using OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect.
• Develop platform services and automation in Go.
• Build fine‑grained access‑control and permissions capabilities.
• Integrate identity services across APIs, applications, and internal platforms.
• Operate identity workloads across Kubernetes and AWS.
• Improve reliability, scalability, observability, and security across identity infrastructure.
• Work with Platform and Security teams to implement least-privilege and Zero Trust principles.
