The Position
As Head of Service Operations, you will set the vision and lead the delivery of high‑quality and sustainable services that put people and community at the heart of everything Beyond Blue does. Working closely with senior leaders and partners, you’ll drive operational excellence, champion innovation, and embed a culture of agility and continuous improvement. This is an opportunity to influence sector‑wide change, harness data and technology for impact, and ensure services are accessible, safe, and responsive to evolving community needs.
You will play a critical leadership role in integrated mental health services that have a meaningful impact across Australia. Reporting to the Chief of Supports and Services Officer, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence and embedding best practice across all aspects of service delivery. Your remit will include overseeing compliance, accreditation, and quality assurance, as well as managing budgets, contracts, and operational processes to ensure efficiency and sustainability. The position mentors and empowers a team of operational managers, fostering collaboration and building capability to deliver results in a dynamic and evolving environment. To be successful in this role you will demonstrate significant leadership experience within health or social services, a proven track record in operations management, and the ability to lead teams through complex change while maintaining a strong focus on community needs and positive outcomes.
