Kapsch TrafficCom AG in Austria is seeking a Hardware Development Engineer to design, develop, and implement hardware components for ETC and ITS products. You will work with cross-functional teams from concept to industrialization.

You will create analog, digital, power supply, and high-frequency designs, ensure EMC compliance, document specifications, support approvals, and contribute to the full product lifecycle. The role offers flexible hours and a competitive gross salary of EUR 60.000 p.a.

Qualifikationen

• Technical vocational training (HTL, FH, TU) in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Hardware Engineering, Mechatronics or equivalent.
• Proven expertise in system and circuit design with EMC-focused testing.
• Analytical thinker with a structured problem-solving approach and independent learning aptitude.
• Experience with technical documentation and design specifications.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset.
• Fluent in English; German language skills are an advantage.

Aufgaben

• Design and develop hardware components for ETC and ITS products.
• Define and implement requirements into hardware architecture and design specs.
• Develop analog, digital, power, and high-frequency circuit designs with quality and performance.
• Support approvals, industrialization, and maintenance of hardware products.
• Create simulations, algorithms, and software to validate hardware functionality.
• Maintain development documentation for clarity and lifecycle consistency.
