Richemont, a global leader in luxury, is seeking a finance/control professional in Meyrin to drive cost controlling, planning, and internal allocation models. The role balances hands-on financial control with improving data quality and process efficiency across technology domains and cost centers.

You will close monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles, support CAR processes, and collaborate with Group Technology Managers to deliver comprehensive reports and insights.

Qualifikationen

• University graduate in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• 1 to 3 years’ experience in a finance or controlling role, preferably within a multinational environment. Relevant internships will be considered.
• Familiarity with SAP FICO, Anaplan and/or BI tools is an asset.
• Knowledge of coding languages (like Python), AI prompts (Copilot), and/or RPA.
• Strong proficiency in Excel is required.
• Demonstrated interest in Technology topics, particularly in Digital, Infrastructure, and Data services areas.
• Fluent in English, French knowledge is a strong asset.

Aufgaben

• Oversee day-to-day financial operations for our technology domains and cost centers, ensuring efficient and appropriate financial control systems.
• Actively contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities, including preparing accruals, reviewing commitments, and assisting with allocation cycles.
• Partner closely with Group Technology Managers to foster cost awareness and enhance understanding of financial performance, providing insightful analysis and ad-hoc reports.
• Support the tracking and monitoring of resources for key technology projects and initiatives.
• Play a key role in the planning and forecasting cycles (Budget, Latest Estimate, Roadmap), from data collection and analysis to presentation and report preparation.
• Assist in the review and consolidation of budget components (Investments, Operating expenses, Headcounts) for supported areas.
• Prepare preliminary management reports and conduct initial variance analysis against financial targets.
• Support the Capital Approval Request (CAR) process and contribute to the follow-up of financial commitments, including budget assumption validation and vendor contract checks.
• Assist in the control and validation of Purchase Orders (PO) in close collaboration with the P2P team.
• Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of cost allocation models, ensuring accurate evaluation of internal and business services.
• Support the application of Richemont's internal controlling procedures, identifying and addressing potential gaps.
• Conduct regular and thorough checks on financial data quality within systems, particularly for time allocation entries and master data accuracy.
• Identify discrepancies, investigate root causes, and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve data integrity issues.
• Assist in collecting, validating, and consolidating financial data from various sources for reporting and analysis.
• Contribute to identifying and implementing process improvements within the controlling function, focusing on automation and efficiency.
• Provide support for ad-hoc financial analysis, data extraction, and special projects as required.

BACKGROUND

Embark on a unique opportunity to actively contribute to the financial landscape of our Group Platforms department.

In this transversal role, you will drive essential financial activities, primarily focusing on cost controlling, financial planning, and internal allocation model management. To succeed in this role, you should have a demonstrated interest in Technology topics, particularly in Digital, Infrastructure, and Data services areas.
Your responsibilities will be dynamically split, with 70% dedicated to hands‑on controlling tasks, working closely with managers to ensure financial rigor, and 30% focused on providing essential support to the wider controlling team, particularly in enhancing data quality and streamlining administrative functions.

HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?

As part of Group Finance and based in Meyrin, your responsibilities will encompass, but are not limited to, the following key areas:

Drive Financial Performance & Control
