• Continuous improvement mindset and a well-developed understanding of commercial risk.

About the Role

Reporting to the Group Chief Financial Officer and overseeing a team of experienced Credit Managers, the Group Credit Manager supports senior management and sales teams to deliver sound commercial outcomes for the business and customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage credit policies and limits
• Oversee negotiation of repayment plans
• Work with legal advisors where appropriate
• Ensure compliance with bank and credit insurance requirements
• Conduct evaluation and forecasting
• Manage legal recovery and dispute resolution
• Interpret and apply legislation

Required Experience and Skills

• Several years of experience in a Credit Management role (circa 10 years preferred) in a business of substantial size
• Current membership of the Australian Institute of Credit Management
• Excellent communication skills, customer‑centric focus, advanced negotiation capabilities and stakeholder management skills
• Continuous improvement mindset and well‑developed understanding of commercial risk
