SWARCO AG in Tirol/ Austria is seeking a senior Controlling professional to lead and further develop an international, production-oriented finance function. You will partner with management and international stakeholders to drive cost management and operational processes.

The role focuses on reporting, forecasting, budgeting, SAP FI/CO expertise, and optimizing controlling practices across subsidiaries. Strong German and English skills are essential, with a strategic yet hands-on mindset.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Controlling, Accounting
• 10+ years in Controlling or Finance in international production environment
• Strong expertise in reporting, forecasting, budgeting, financial analysis and performance management
• Excellent SAP FI/CO knowledge and advanced Excel skills
• Experience with BI tools and SAP transformation projects is a plus
• Proven ability to develop and enhance controlling processes and group-wide standards
• Strong communication to present complex topics to diverse audiences
• Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
• Analytical mindset with initiative and change-management capability

Job Description

• Independently prepare, analyze, and further develop management reports, while coordinating forecasting, budgeting, and planning processes at group level
• Advise and support the management teams of the SWARCO companies and the Holding on financial and business-related matters as well as strategic and operational decision-making
• Conduct in-depth financial and business analyses and derive actionable recommendations to support business performance management
• Contribute to international finance, transformation, and SAP projects, including supporting SAP rollouts across international subsidiaries
• Further develop, standardize, and harmonize controlling processes, tools, reporting structures, as well as relevant policies and standards
• Serve as the central point of contact for SAP FI/CO topics, master data management, and ensuring high data and process quality within Controlling
• Identify and implement optimization and automation opportunities in reporting and controlling processes
• Collaborate closely with local finance teams, business departments, and international stakeholders across the global finance community

Qualifications

• University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Controlling, Accounting, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of relevant professional experience (ideally 10+ years) in Controlling or Finance, preferably within an international and production-oriented business environment
• Strong expertise in reporting, forecasting, budgeting, financial analysis, and business performance management
• Excellent knowledge of SAP FI/CO or comparable ERP systems, as well as advanced Excel skills
• Experience with BI and reporting tools as well as SAP-related transformation projects is an advantage
• Proven experience in the development and enhancement of controlling processes, reporting structures, management tools, or group-wide standards—ideally with exposure to manufacturing controlling
• Strong understanding of business and financial interrelationships, with the ability to present and communicate complex topics clearly to different target audiences
• Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
• Strong analytical and conceptual abilities, high level of initiative, and the capability to actively drive change processes while acting as a trusted business partner to management
