Zusammenfassung

Siemens Energy, a global leader in grid technology, seeks a senior Training Content Developer to evaluate training needs for power transformers and switchgears. You will create shared content, coordinate across sites, and promote consistent standards while collaborating with trainers, SMEs and suppliers.

Requirements include a university degree in a technical field, strong training content design experience, and excellent English skills (German a plus).

Qualifikationen

• University degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Extensive experience as Technical Trainer or Training Content Developer.
• Strong knowledge of Energy Grid Technology products, including Power Transformers and Switchgears.
• Proven ability to design engaging, interactive training programs and learning content.
• Strong organizational and collaboration skills; training certifications are a plus.
• Excellent English; German language skills are a plus.

Aufgaben

• Assess training material needs of local sites and consolidate local content for technical trainings.
• Collaborate with local training managers, trainers, SMEs and suppliers to develop training materials (presentations, videos, AI-supported videos, e-learnings, AR/VR).
• Oversee version control and continuous improvement of training materials.
• Adapt and enhance existing training offerings, including digital formats (theory and practicals).
• Support the definition and enhancement of training curricula for workshop and office training programs.
• Act as the primary interface to internal and external supplier networks and coordinate supplier activities.

A Snapshot of Your Day

As part of the Global Training Team, you will evaluate the needs for power transformer and switchgears related common training content, such as foundational topics like transformer or switchgear basics. You will be responsible for creating this shared training material and ensuring consistency and alignment across multiple sites to uphold uniform training standards. By coordinating efforts across various locations, you will also help prevent the duplication of similar content and promote efficient collaboration within the organization.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• Assess training material needs of local sites and gather, review, and consolidate local content for white and blue collar technical and non-technical trainings
• Collaborate with local training managers, trainers, and subject matter experts and external suppliers to develop training materials, including presentations, videos, AI-supported videos, e-learnings, interactive digital training, and AR/VR trainings
• Oversee version control and continuous improvement of training materials
• Continuously adapt and enhance existing training offerings, including digital formats (theory and practical exercises)
• Support the definition and enhancement of training curricula for both workshop and office training programs
• Act as the primary interface to the internal and external supplier network and coordinate supplier activities

What You Bring

• University degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field
• Long-term professional experience as a Technical Trainer, Training Content Developer, or in a comparable role
• Strong knowledge of Energy Grid Technology products, particularly Power Transformers and Switchgears
• Proven ability to design, develop, and deliver engaging, interactive technical training programs and learning content
• Strong organizational, project management, communication, and collaboration skills; formal certifications in training and education are an advantage
• Excellent English language skills; German language skills are a plus

Please note that there is a clear willingness for a higher compensation considering your individual expectations, expertise and skills. The minimum salary for this position in the collective agreement for the electrical and electronics industry is in the amount of € 54.439,42 gross/year for a full-time position (38,5 h/week).
