Zusammenfassung

Andermatt Swiss Alps AG seeks a dedicated greenkeeper to maintain an 18-hole golf course, ecological and wooded areas, and to assist with tournament preparations.

You will independently operate and service a modern machinery fleet, assist with construction and upkeep of practice facilities, and help implement regeneration measures. Weekend and public holiday work during peak season is required. German language skills preferred, English an advantage.

Qualifikationen

• Training as a greenkeeper or vocational training in related fields.
• Experience in landscaping, mechanics, construction or agriculture is a plus.
• Flexibility and stamina for adverse weather; willingness to work weekends/holidays.

• Maintenance of the 18-hole golf course and ecological areas.
• Regeneration and upkeep measures for greens and wooded areas.

• Maintenance and upkeep of the playing areas and fixtures and fittings at an 18-hole golf course
• Professional maintenance of ecological areas and wooded areas
• Carrying out maintenance and regeneration measures
• Professional use of fertilisers and plant protection products (subject to appropriate training)
• Assisting with construction work
• Independently operating, servicing and maintaining the modern fleet of machinery
• Assisting with the coordination of grounds maintenance operations and preparations for tournaments and events
• Maintaining and preparing the practice facilities

What you bring in

• Training as a greenkeeper or other completed vocational training; experience in landscaping, mechanics, the construction industry or agriculture would be an advantage
• Professional experience in horticulture and/or the maintenance of golf courses would be an advantage
• Flexibility, resilience and stamina, even in adverse weather conditions
• Willingness to work irregular hours and to work regularly at weekends and on public holidays during the peak season
• Category B driving licence
• Good spoken German (B1); English would be an advantage
