Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or a related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years' experience in environmental leadership roles within mining, metals, resources, oil & gas or heavy industry.
• Proven experience developing and implementing environmental and climate strategies within multinational operational environments.
• Demonstrated capability engaging with executive leadership teams and governance forums.
• Experience managing environmental compliance, risk and performance across multiple jurisdictions.

Aufgaben

• Develop and maintain the Copper Environmental and Climate Strategy aligned to Group HSEC & HR objectives and climate commitments.
• Lead environmental and climate‑related risk identification, assessment and mitigation activities across operations and projects.
• Identify and evaluate emissions reduction opportunities and climate‑related investments across assets.
• Provide environmental input into business planning, project development and capital allocation decisions.
• Lead, coach and develop regional and asset‑based environment teams and promote best practices across operations.
