About the role

Enviro‑foam is seeking a Foam Plant Production Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our foam manufacturing facility in Clontarf, Queensland. As a full-time role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective production of our high‑quality foam products to meet customer demand.

What you’ll be doing

• Manage and oversee all foam production activities, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating workflow to maximise productivity and efficiency
• Monitor and maintain production equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimise downtime
• Analyse production data and identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings
• Collaborate with the wider team to develop and implement new manufacturing techniques and technologies
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and training to the production team to develop their skills and capabilities
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including management, customers, and suppliers, to address any issues or concerns

What we’re looking for

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar production management role, preferably within the manufacturing, transport, or logistics industry
• Strong understanding of foam manufacturing processes and equipment, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
• Excellent project management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Proficient in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to interpret and act on production metrics
• Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with all stakeholders
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in a technical or engineering field and PLC experience would be highly regarded
