Expressions of Interest: Centre Manager - BRAND NEW CENTRE

Kids ELC is a privately owned company currently operating 16 centres across Queensland. Our centres pride themselves on offering beautiful learning environments with open-ended resources that create endless learning possibilities. We believe that through play children develop the foundations for further learning which include exploration of their environment, who they are and where they fit within the world they belong.

We are currently looking for an Expressions of Interest as a Centre Manager to lead one of our brand new centres.

We are participating in the Worker Retention Payment Grant! If successful you will receive an additional payment on top of your above award pay rate.

The successful applicant will lead with experience, dedication, commitment and professionalism. You will have support from one of our Portfolio Managers and development team as well as an experienced and passionate support office team for ongoing support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enhance the performance of the centre through proactive management of key financials including occupancy, rostering, collection of fees, marketing, wages and general administration duties.
  • Assist in the development of the new centre.
  • Build a strong presence in the local community.
  • Build strong relationships with families and children.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships within the local community.
  • Develop and maintain the centre Quality Improvement Plan.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Possess strong written and verbal skills.
  • Understand and adhere to all Queensland Childcare requirements including the NQF, NQS, EYLF and MTOP.
  • Show excellent leadership qualities, be proactive and utilise remarkable people skills.
  • Set high standards for staff and centre performance by nurturing staff morale.
  • Be capable of working autonomously.
  • Express a genuine passion or interest in the Reggio Emilia philosophy.
  • Previous experience with a new centre build.
  • Experience using Kidsoft software is advantageous but not essential.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Significant experience as a Centre Manager and hold the appropriate qualifications.
  • Hold or be willing to obtain a current suitability card, First Aid/CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma training.
  • Competently aware and understand the assessment and rating processes.
  • Bonus scheme and above award remuneration package (based on experience).
