Jobbeschreibung

About the Role

Do you love numbers, understand online shopper behavior, are passionate about unlocking real business insights from raw data? Then you’ve come to the right place!

As a Data Analyst (f/m/d) in our global eCommerce team, you will focus entirely on what you do best: data analysis, insight generation, and business impact. You won't have to build tracking setups or spend all day coding dashboards—your primary focus is on analyzing user paths, identifying bottlenecks in the funnel, and uncovering valuable growth opportunities for our international markets.

A real highlight: You will provide subject-matter support in building our global reporting infrastructure.

Your Mission
  • Web Analytics & Funnel Optimization: You dive deep into our web and performance data, analyze user paths and conversion funnels, and identify concrete hurdles and growth opportunities.
  • Customer & Cohort Analytics: You analyze user behavior, customer segments, cohorts (CLV, Retention, Churn), and customer journeys to identify deep patterns and derive actionable recommendations.
  • Product & Assortment Analytics: You analyze product category performance, ordering patterns, and cart abandonments, delivering insights to optimize our online product range.
  • Insights & Decision Support: You translate complex datasets into clear, structured core insights (\"Data Storytelling\"), providing directly actionable decision proposals for management.
  • Analytical Sparring in Major Projects: You contribute your analytical perspective to the development of our new central Data Warehouse.
  • Data Quality & Plausibility: You maintain a critical eye on data streams and ensure that analyses are based on reliable numbers.
Your Skills
  • Professional Experience: 1–3 years of solid experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in an eCommerce or digital environment.
  • eCommerce Domain Knowledge: Confident understanding of key eCom KPIs (e.g., CAC, CLV, AOV, Conversion Rate, Churn, Return Rates).
  • Core Tech Stack (Must-have): Strong practical knowledge of Google Analytics, SQL, BigQuery, as well as a good understanding of data structures.
  • Analytical Acumen & Storytelling: Strong ability to not only query data, but to recognize connections, test hypotheses, and present recommendations concisely.
  • Communication & Teamwork: Strong interpersonal skills, a structured way of working, and enjoyment in working closely within an international team.
  • Language Skills: Very good English (primary team language in a global context) as well as good German skills.
Some skills that would be nice-to-have
  • Familiarity with Google Tag Manager (GTM)
  • Conceptual understanding of web tracking principles (events, UTMs, client- vs. server-side)
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Looker Studio / Power BI)
