Position Description

• We are looking for a Data Specialist to support data architecture, data governance, and analytics setups for a research organization in a banking environment.


• You will analyze existing data sources and flows, define data models and KPIs with business units, and accompany implementations from concept to productive usage while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and group standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze existing data sources, data flows, and data quality across the platforms used by Research.


• Assess data vendors and external offerings; support vendor selection decisions.


• Identify gaps, redundancies, and quick wins in existing data setups.


• Collaborate closely with internal data, IT, and analytics teams.


• Define data models, KPIs, and data requirements together with business units.


• Support specifications, development of taxonomies, and Proofs of Concept (PoCs) in close cooperation with business units.


• Accompany implementation from concept to productive usage, including alignment on scope changes and priorities.


• Support the implementation of data governance models.


• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, group standards, and constraints.


• Moderate data workshops and requirements sessions.


• Prepare decision documents and take responsibility for escalation in case of goal, scope, or governance conflicts.
