EV Group Europe & Asia/Pacific GmbH in Austria seeks a motivated individual to start a career in cybersecurity. Whether fresh from university or an apprenticeship, you will work on security projects, analyze threats, and help protect our IT infrastructure.

You’ll learn from experienced IT security experts, gain hands-on experience in threat detection, vulnerability assessment, and incident response, and grow with us through introductory training and mentoring.

Qualifikationen

• Completed vocational training (e.g., technical secondary school) or degree in Computer Science, IT Security, Business Informatics, or comparable field.
• Initial knowledge of IT security, networking, or system administration is advantageous.
• Interest in current cyber threats and security standards.
• Strong analytical thinking and structured work approach.
• Eagerness to learn and develop skills.
• Very good German and English language skills.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Protecting systems: You’ll support us in securing and further developing our IT systems and networks.
• Keeping an eye on security: You’ll monitor our systems and help to identify unusual activity or security incidents early on.
• Detecting vulnerabilities: You’ll assist in analyzing IT security vulnerabilities, anomalies, and cyberattacks.
• Learn about cutting-edge tools: You’ll gain in-depth insights into the latest security solutions, threat detection, and malware analysis.
• Assist in emergencies: You’ll support our team in responding to security incidents (incident response) and document the findings.
• Grow together: You’ll work closely with experienced IT security experts and learn something new every day.

Requirements:

We prefer to discuss salary in person, but we can reveal this much: We naturally align with market-standard salaries - meaning that, depending on the position and education, an above-collective agreement salary is possible right from the start. For this position, we offer an annual gross salary of at least 45.500 EUR. Depending on qualifications and experience, we can also offer more!
