Coordinator - Community Transport & Home Assist

This is a rewarding opportunity to contribute to the wider community by playing a key role in ensuring residents of the Barossa feel connected, independent and supported within their community.

The Coordinator - Community Transport and Home Assist is responsible for providing effective day-to-day supervision, coordination, and guidance to the Community Transport and Home Assist (CT&HA) team, whilst undertaking a wide range of duties including the delivery of high quality, efficient, effective administration and customer service that supports the goals and objectives within the Community Transport and Home Assist team.

To be successful you will need:

  • Understanding of the Aged Care sector best practice and access to services.
  • Highly developed administrative skills and knowledge with the ability to support a range of team members and internal and external customers.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks in a complex working environment.Experience in Aged Care/Community Care sector.
  • Demonstrated high level of personal integrity and ethics with the ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to build and sustain positive working relationships with staff, people at all levels within the public and private sectors, related industry and community interest groups.
  • Highly attention to detail with the ability to produce and influence accurate and productive work.
  • Knowledge of statutory requirements relevant to work area.
  • Knowledge of section processes, policies and activities.

This position is a 12-month fixed term fulltimecontract which offers the opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation where your contribution will be recognised and valued. This position is offered at General Officer Level 4 ($90,319.66 - $96,693.99) in accordance with The Barossa Council’s Enterprise Agreement 2025.
