Zusammenfassung

INNIO offers an internship in Austria for electrical or mechatronic engineering students to develop novel controls solutions for gas engine products and advance real-time modelling for hardware-in-the-loop applications.

You will work on nonlinear model-based control algorithms, dynamic engine-generator-grid models in MATLAB/Simulink and Power Factory, and C++ embedded algorithms for hydrogen-fueled engines.

Qualifikationen

• Ongoing bachelor’s or master’s studies in electrical or mechatronic engineering or related field.
• Educational experience in controls design (MATLAB, Power Factory), preferably modeling electrical equipment and power systems.
• Basic understanding of reciprocating engines and power systems.
• Passion for software development and teamwork.

Aufgaben

• Work with controls/measurement/Grid Code solutions team to develop and test differentiating technologies.
• Support requirement discussions, scope and concept definitions and feature design with input from experts.
• Exchange with senior engineers on technical development challenges and solutions.
• Translate functional requirements into technical specifications and design solutions.
