About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Configuration and Data Management Lead to join our growing team. In this high-impact role, you'll oversee the configuration and data management of technical and contract data across the full project lifecycle, supporting mission‑critical defence projects.

  • Register, distribute and maintain Engineering, Technical and Contract Data Deliverable documentation.
  • Lead the development, implementation and management of a KDAu programme configuration management system and data management system.
  • Develop, maintain, and promote configuration & data management of contract deliverables.
  • Support conduct of configuration status accounting and audits.
  • Manage and maintain the programme product definition and design data, technical baselines, engineering changes, and current approved configuration.
  • Conduct configuration and data management activities in compliance with regulations, Configuration Management Plans and KONGSBERG management System.
What you'll Bring
  • Experience in a configuration and data management role in a Defence project environment within Defence or Defence Industry.
  • Experience with Product Lifecycle / Configuration Management software.
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant technical discipline.
  • Familiarity with the range of Contractual Data Deliverables required under ASDEFCON contracting.
Mandatory Requirements
  • Must be able to access information controlled under the US International Traffic of Arms Regulations (ITAR).
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain an Australian security clearance.
