Cornucopia IT Resourcing Limited is seeking a Security Commissioning Lead to own commissioning and handover of Access Control and CCTV systems across large-scale data centre projects in Europe. This senior role requires hands-on testing, QA, and coordination with installers and vendors on site.

You will drive test procedures, witness client acceptance, manage punch lists, and maintain evidence-based commissioning records while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance across mainland Europe.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience leading electronic security commissioning on complex construction programmes.
• Detailed knowledge of Access Control architecture (controllers, readers, doors, field devices) and CCTV infrastructure (IP cameras, VMS/NVR).
• Ability to read technical drawings, schematics and device schedules fluently, with disciplined commissioning documentation, QA/QC and handover.
• Construction site experience in Europe and relevant safety tickets or site accreditations.
• Strong written and spoken English; additional European languages are an advantage.

Are you a hands-on security commissioning professional with a track record of driving complex electronic security systems through testing and acceptance on major construction programmes? This is a senior technical role at the sharp end of hyperscale data centre delivery across mainland Europe.

A specialist technology and security solutions business — operating at the top tier of the European data centre construction market — is looking for a Security Commissioning Lead to own the commissioning and technical handover of Access Control and CCTV systems across large-scale, fast-paced project environments. This is a permanent or fixed-term engagement, project-based, with travel across mainland Europe.

• You will be the technical focal point for all security commissioning activities on your assigned scope — from confirming installation readiness and developing test procedures, through point-to-point testing, functional and integrated systems testing, to witnessed client acceptance and final handover.
• You will coordinate installation teams, specialist vendors and client commissioning representatives, manage defect and punch-list cycles to closure, and maintain live, evidence-based commissioning records that give the wider project team clear sight of status at all times.
• You will be on site, holding installation teams and vendors to account, escalating blockers early and protecting commissioning milestones.

Experience Required

• Proven experience leading electronic security commissioning — Access Control and CCTV — on complex construction programmes, ideally within data centres, mission-critical facilities or similarly demanding environments is essential.
• You will have a detailed working knowledge of Access Control architecture (controllers, readers, locking interfaces, door monitoring, field devices) and CCTV infrastructure (IP cameras, VMS/NVR platforms, recording, network connectivity).
• You understand IP networking as it applies to security systems, can read technical drawings, schematics and device schedules fluently, and have a disciplined approach to commissioning documentation, QA/QC and handover.
• Construction site experience in Europe is required, along with relevant safety tickets or site accreditations.
• Strong written and spoken English is essential; additional European languages are an advantage.
