Zusammenfassung

eodc – Earth Observation Data Centre for Water Resources Monitoring GmbH in Vienna seeks a Cloud Platform Engineer to shape state-of-the-art cloud infrastructures for processing Earth Observation data. You will design, build, operate and maintain petabyte-scale storage and cloud environments, enabling access for high-performance computing systems.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor or Master in CS/Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience with distributed storage and compute technologies (Ceph, GPFS, Proxmox).
• Strong networking knowledge (Cumulus, InfiniBand, Ethernet).
• Experience building cloud environments (OpenStack, Ansible, Kayobe).
• Version control and IaC principles (Git, GitOps).
• Hands-on scripting in Bash, Python, or Go.

• Architect, build and operate resilient cloud infrastructures.
• Design and maintain networking for high-performance workloads.
• Develop and maintain cloud environments and IaC.
• Monitor, alert, and plan capacity for availability and performance.
• Ensure security and follow ITSM for changes and incidents.
