We are currently seeking a dedicated director to lead our beautiful childcare Centre and amazing team. ILM Early Learning - Underwood is a 75 place Centre.

ILM is dedicated to foster wisdom in our children and help them develop holistically to the best of their ability, guided by the divine Islamic values of mutual love, peace, respect, discipline, dignity and honor.

Key Capabilities

• Strong understanding of Regulation/Legislation, Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
• Understanding of Assessment & Rating and Quality improvement plan
• Be able to evaluate programs through your strong understanding of EYLF and NQS
• Have confident leadership skills and management experience
• Be hard-working, reliable, and flexible
• Work collaboratively in a team environment, ensuring effective and respectful communication and trusting relationships with staff, families and the community

Qualification

• At least ACECQA approved Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
• Valid Blue Card/Police Check
• First Aid Certificate, Asthma & Anaphylaxis Certificates, Food Handling and Child Protection/Mandatory Reporting training
• Good verbal and written communication skills and computer knowledge
• Knowledge of Xplor, CCMS, ISS will be an advantage

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the service
• Drive continuous improvement of the Centre via proactive management of KPI's - including occupancy, rostering, timesheets, collection of fees, marketing and general administration tasks
• Establish respectful and reciprocal relationships with families and develop the Centre team to provide high-quality education and care, while maintaining a safe environment for children, families, staff and wider community
• Foster a strong partnership within the local community
• Ensure compliance with all legislative, regulatory, and quality standards
• Demonstrate excellent communication and time management skills, together with strong written and verbal skills
