You'll manage complex datasets, build pipelines, and apply advanced statistics to animal trial and sequencing data. Your key responsibilities

• Organizing data and databases
• Development of pipelines for data flows
• Taking care of any aspect of at least one massive and growing dataset – of course together with colleagues
• Statistical analyses – animal trials with various data sources
• Sequencing analysis, mainly microbiome data

You bring

• Strong skills in data management and databases
• Extensive knowledge and experience in computer science, statistics, metabolomics, sequencing analysis / microbiome data
• Very good programming skills in R, at least one scripting language (e.g. Python, Perl), and at least one (partially) compiled language (e.g. Java, C++)
• Experience with cloud data workflows and computing, preferably Azure and AWS
• Proficiency in Linux system setup and shell scripting (bash)
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills, plus general biological knowledge
