CARBAGAS AG, a member of the Air Liquide Group, seeks an ASU Maintenance Manager (m/f/d) to lead maintenance for the plant in Wiler bei Utzenstorf. You will plan preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance, ensuring safe, reliable and compliant operations.

English language is required; German is a strong plus. The role is full-time and on-site with on-call responsibilities to secure uninterrupted gas supply and drive continuous improvements in automated systems.

Qualifikationen

• Completed technical education (FH/HF) in mechanical, electrical, or process engineering.
• Maintenance experience in process-oriented industrial environments.
• Solid understanding of compressors, pumps, turbines, distillation columns, pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Fluent English; German is a strong plus.

Aufgaben

• Plan and coordinate preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance for the ASU.
• Ensure safe, reliable, quality-compliant operation of plant maintenance activities.
• Coordinate technical modifications and engineering projects on site with TAR management support.
• Drive continuous improvements and optimize operations with automated systems.
• Maintain plant documentation including manuals and SOPs.
• Participate in on-call rotation to secure gas supply and troubleshoot.
• Act as deputy plant manager when needed.

Position

ASU Maintenance Manager (m/f/d, 100%)

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate all preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities for the ASU.
• Ensure a safe, reliable, quality-compliant, efficient, and environmentally friendly operation of the plant's maintenance activities.
• Coordinate and support technical modifications and engineering projects on site together with the support of TAR management.
• Drive continuous proactive process improvements and utilize your affinity for automated systems to optimize operations.
• Maintain, update, and provide plant documentation, including operating manuals and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Coordinate and participate in the on-call rotation to secure uninterrupted customer gas supply and perform prompt troubleshooting when required.
• Act as the deputy of the plant manager when needed.

Requirements

• Completed technical education, preferably in mechanical, electrical, process engineering, or a related field (FH/HF).
• Maintenance experience within a process-oriented industrial environment (e.g., chemical, petrochemical, process engineering, or gas plant).
• Understanding of chemical/process engineering technologies (compressors, pumps, turbines, distillation columns, pneumatics, and hydraulics).
• English is a MUST, German a strong plus.

Work Location

Plant in Wiler bei Utzenstorf.
