Erste Group Bank AG in Vienna invites you to join the Group AI Governance Team for a six‑month full‑time internship or a twelve‑month part‑time placement, starting February 2027. You will contribute to governance of AI use cases in an international banking environment.

You’ll prepare reports, participate in reviews and workshops, and develop hands‑on Python and data analysis skills while learning about AI governance, risk management, and EU AI Act compliance.

Qualifikationen

• Ongoing studies in computer science, data science, AI, business informatics, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of AI, machine learning, generative AI, LLMs, and responsible AI.
• Hands-on experience with Python and data analysis; additional AI tooling experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess technical solutions, risks, and controls.
• Interest in AI governance, AI risk management, and regulatory requirements (e.g., EU AI Act).

Aufgaben

• Support the assessment and governance of AI use cases, including generative AI and LLM solutions.
• Identify and document AI-related risks, control gaps and compliance requirements.
• Contribute to AI Governance policies, standards, and assessment frameworks.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and governance documentation for stakeholders.
• Participate in reviews, workshops, and initiatives promoting responsible AI adoption.
