Your New Company/Role

As a well established organisation, my client is looking for a dynamic Accounts Payable/Accounts Administration Officer to join their team for a 6 months temporary (subject to extension). Their office is based in the Northern Beaches region. Onsite parking is provided alongside 2 - 3 days work from home flexibility once up and running with confidence.

About the Opportunity / Responsibilities

Reporting to a nurturing Finance Manager. Your primary activity will centre around all aspects of the Accounts Payable process, including but not limited to

  • Processing a high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently
  • Matching invoices to purchase orders and delivery dockets
  • Preparing and processing payment runs
  • Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Managing supplier relationships and handling queries
  • Assisting with month-end closing procedures related to Accounts Payable
  • General accounts administration support and other ad hoc as required
Ideal Profile
  • Diploma or Bachelors in Accounting & Finance/equivalent qualification or relevant work experience
  • A minimum of 2-5 years hands on experience in Accounts Payable function
  • Proficiency with any accounting software
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Benefits
  • 6 months temporary position - subject to extension
  • An immediate start role or open to someone who has short notice period
  • $39.00 - $43.00 per hour + Super (Based on experience)
