Role Summary and Impact

We are seeking a proactive Senior Trading Executive to join our dynamic Trading team. In this pivotal role, you will be included in the effective planning, execution, and optimization of media buying activities across a wide spectrum of platforms. Your sharp negotiation skills, attention to detail, and commitment to accurate campaign delivery will directly contribute to maximizing media value for our clients and ensuring our campaigns run seamlessly and cost-effectively. You will play a crucial role in maintaining strong vendor relationships and providing data-driven insights to elevate our media strategies.

  • Assist in planning and executing media buying activities across TV, radio, digital, OOH, print, and other platforms
  • Support senior buyers in negotiating rates, placements, and added value with media vendors
  • Monitor campaign delivery to ensure correct placements, timings, and budgets
  • Track media spend and support reconciliation of invoices and post-campaign reports
  • Maintain accurate records of bookings, costs, and campaign details
  • Coordinate with internal planning, digital, and client service teams
  • Support post-campaign analysis, including performance summaries and learnings
  • Stay updated on media trends, market rates, and vendor offerings

  • A minimum of 3+ years of proven experience in a media buying, planning, or trading role, preferably within a fast-paced media agency or an in-house media team.
  • Demonstrated expertise in media negotiation, with a strong track record of securing favorable rates, optimal placements, and added value across diverse media channels (e.g., TV, Radio, OOH, Print, Digital).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with media vendors and collaborate effectively with internal planning, digital, and client service teams.
  • Strong analytical abilities and keen attention to detail, capable of managing complex media bookings, tracking expenditures, reconciling invoices, and ensuring precise campaign delivery.
  • Proficiency in media buying systems, ad servers, and campaign management platforms; experience with relevant industry tools and software is highly valued.
  • A comprehensive understanding of the evolving media landscape, including market rates, emerging trends, and new vendor offerings across all media channels.
