Overview of the role:
  • The primary focus of this role is to manage the day-to-day workshop floor operations to drive performance by working with different departments and the distributor team to ensure the Fix It Right (FIR) process is followed and vehicles are delivered on time in excellent condition.
What you will do:
  • Maximize the sold hours from After-sales operations to meet revenue performance objectives through target setting.
  • Ensure adherence to the FIR program as per the distributor guidelines.
  • Identify and manage FIR concerns, and set actions to close on set key performance indicators.
  • Submit branch field technical reports as per the distributor standards.
  • Plan, review, manage, and implement utilization, productivity, and efficiency of technicians and wash bay as per standard operating procedures.
  • Review and manage quality control and address deviations to ensure recurrence through training and coaching.
  • Provide on-the-job coaching and identify training needs.
  • Conduct performance management reviews and develop individual development plans for employees.
  • Promote associate engagement and conduct impact planning sessions.
  • Oversee and manage recruitment as per capacity model.
  • Ensure adherence to warranty processes, rules, and regulations as per the principal's standards.
  • Ensure availability and maintenance of all tools and equipment.
  • Ensure all technician tools and equipment meet the Principal's standard tools list.
  • Manage wash bay product inventory and conduct monthly oil and consumables audits.
  • Support the implementation of special projects to enhance customer experience.
  • Manage facility to comply with brand corporate image standards and HSSE standards.
  • Ensure 100% compliance with Standard Operating Procedures.
Required Skills to be successful:
  • Strategic problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
What equips you for the role:
  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering, preferably Automotive or Mechanical.
  • 8-10 years overall experience with Automotive dealership in After-sales; of which a minimum of 3-5 years at a managerial level.
  • Knowledge of Automotive dealer/distributor business processes.
  • Experience with American Automotive brands is preferred.
