Job Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate welding activities to ensure high quality work and compliance with project specifications.
• Assign tasks to welders and monitor their performance ensuring adherence to safety and industry standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints welding procedures and technical drawings to guide team members.
• Conduct inspections on welding materials and equipment to ensure compliance with safety and quality requirements.
• Train and mentor junior welders improving their skills and efficiency.
• Maintain proper documentation of welding procedures progress reports and inspection records.
• Identify and troubleshoot welding defects ensuring corrective measures are implemented effectively.
• Ensure proper use of welding equipment tools and personal protective gear to maintain a safe working environment.
• Coordinate with project managers engineers and other departments to meet production schedules and deadlines.
• Enforce workplace safety guidelines and regulatory compliance conducting regular safety meetings and audits.
