Job summary

A leading welding service company in Dubai is seeking a Welding Leadman to supervise a team of welders. Candidates should possess a High School Diploma, 3+ years of welding experience, and leadership skills. Qualifications

• Certification in welding or related technical field is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in welding and at least 12 years in a supervisory role.
• Certification in welding (AWS CWI, CSWIP) is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of various welding techniques, materials, and codes.
• Experience in oil & gas, construction, or manufacturing industries.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of welders in tasks and projects.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and safety regulations.
• Oversee preparation, fitting, and welding of materials.
• Provide guidance and training to junior welders.
• Review welding blueprints and project specifications.
• Monitor work progress and adjust schedules.
• Inspect completed welds for compliance with standards.
• Report issues related to welding.
• Coordinate with engineers and project managers.
• Maintain welding equipment and tools.

Skills

Strong leadership and supervisory skills

Welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick)

Familiarity with welding codes and standards (ASME, AWS, API)
