Job summary

Korean Techno Inspection Middle East is seeking a welding inspection professional to conduct third-party inspections at vendor workshops, fabrication yards, and project sites across the UAE. The role requires verifying weld quality, WPS/PQR, welder qualifications, and material traceability, with ADNOC and client standards in mind.

The ideal candidate holds CSWIP 3.1 or AWS CWI certification, with additional NDT qualifications considered an advantage.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Welding Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Relevant technical qualifications in welding inspection are required.
• CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector or AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI), as accepted by the client.
• Additional NDT qualifications are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Conduct third-party welding inspections at vendor workshops, fabrication yards, and project sites.
• Inspect welding fit-up, joint preparation, welding activities, and completed welds.
• Verify WPS/PQR, welder qualifications, material traceability, and compliance with applicable codes and project specifications.
• Witness NDT, review inspection reports, and verify weld repair activities.
• Prepare inspection reports and ensure compliance with client and ADNOC requirements.
