Job summary

Work corp in Al Shamkhah City, UAE, is seeking an experienced Welder with a minimum of three years’ welding experience to join our team and work independently with high accuracy.

You will read blueprints, set up equipment, perform MIG, TIG and oxy-acetylene welding, inspect welds, repair parts, and maintain a safe workplace consistent with our standards. Fluency in English is mandatory. Salary is 1700 per month with health insurance and other benefits.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Welder to join our team at Al Shamkhah City. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of three years' experience in welding and be able to work independently, with a high degree of accuracy and precision.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, diagrams and sketches to determine the specific welding requirements.
• Set up and operate welding equipment according to established procedures.
• Perform various welding techniques including MIG, TIG and oxy-acetylene welding.
• Inspect completed welds for accuracy and completeness.
• Repair worn parts or broken components on industrial equipment or machinery using hand held tools or welders.
• Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety rules and regulations.
• Prepare metal surfaces for painting by grinding, sanding, cleaning or other methods as required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED preferred
• 3+ years' experience in welding; TIG/MIG/Oxyacetylene experience preferred
• Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of Arabic is desirable but not essential
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as blueprints, drawings, sketches etc.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, squat, kneel, crawl as needed

The salary for this position is 1700 per month plus benefits such as health insurance, transportation allowance etc., commensurate with experience. Foreigners are welcome to apply for this position.
