Job summary

Woopel in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates is seeking a Welder to join our team. The successful candidate will weld different metals and alloys using various techniques in a permanent on-site role with a monthly salary of 1,300 AED.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, monitoring welds to specs, and maintaining safety. A high school diploma and about 1 year of welding experience are preferred; basic math and strong attention to detail are important.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year welding experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Basic arithmetic skills (fractions, decimals, proportions).
• Knowledge of safety precautions in welding.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.

Responsibilities

• Perform all types of welding operations as assigned by supervisor or foreman.
• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches and drawings accurately.
• Monitor the welding process to ensure welds meet specifications.
• Use hand tools for grinding, chipping, fitting and cleaning.
• Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety regulations.
• Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Repair defective equipment parts using welding techniques.
• Report any problems or defects in welds to supervisor or foreman.
• Maintain records of work completed.
