Job summary

JobCenter in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Welder to join our team. You will weld and assemble large structures using stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminum and other metals, and operate overhead cranes and welding equipment.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of welding experience, can read drawings and welding symbols, and is proficient with MIG/TIG or arc welding. English communication is essential, Arabic is a plus.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years experience as a welder.
• Knowledge of MIG/TIG or arc welding.
• Ability to read drawings and welding symbols.
• Ability to use calipers and protractors.
• Able to lift up to 50lbs.
• Good English; Arabic would be an advantage.

Job Description:

The Welder will be responsible for welding and assembling large structures using stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminum, copper and other metals. This will involve operating overhead cranes, manual cutting tools and welding equipment. The successful candidate should have the ability to accurately measure material, verify accuracy of fit-up, and efficiently weld according to specifications.

Demands for the Candidate:

• Previous experience as a welder with at least 5 years experience in related fields.
• Proven knowledge of welding techniques and processes such as MIG/TIG welding or arc welding.
• Ability to read drawings correctly and understand welding symbols.
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as protractors and calipers.
• Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50lbs unassisted.
• Good communication skills in English language (Arabic would be an advantage).

Salary: 1400 AED per month.
