Job Description

• Perform welding operations on various materials according to customer specifications
• Setting up the necessary tools, materials, machines, torches, and gauges to complete tasks efficiently
• Ensure that all safety protocols are followed during the welding process to protect workers from injury or other risks associated with welding operations

Skills Needed

• Knowledgeable in various welding techniques such as MIG/MAG (metal inert gas), TIG (tungsten inert gas), oxyacetylene welding, flux core arc welding (FCAW), stick welding (SMAW), plasma arc cutting (PAC), and more
• Experience working with a variety of metals such as steel, aluminum, stainless steel, brass, copper alloys, etc.
• Knowledge of general safety protocols related to these operations
• Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with supervisors and other personnel as necessary
