Job summary

A leading welding company in Sharjah seeks a skilled welder to interpret blueprints, select welding processes, and ensure quality in metal assembly. The ideal candidate will have experience in SMAW, MIG, and TIG welding, along with knowledge of safety procedures and equipment handling. Responsibilities include maintaining tools and inspecting welds. A valid work visa is required for this position.

Qualifications

Job description
Key Responsibilities

Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and measurements to plan welding work and layouts. Select appropriate welding processes (e.g., SMAW, MIG, TIG) and materials for each job.

Weld and assemble metal parts in different positions (flat, vertical, overhead) according to specifications.

Inspect and test welded joints to check for defects and ensure quality and strength. Maintain welding machines, tools, and work area in safe, clean, and efficient condition.

Follow all safety procedures, including use of PPE (helmet, gloves, safety shoes, goggles) and safe handling of gas and electrical equipment.
