Job summary

JobCenter in Ajman is seeking a skilled Welder for a contract position. You will read blueprints, select welding techniques (MIG/TIG/arc) and join metal parts using grinders, cutters and plasma torches.

The role requires physical fitness, ability to work in heat and confined spaces, and willingness to live in provided accommodation. Prior welding experience is preferred but not required.

Welder - Contract Position in Ajman

We are hiring a skilled Welder for a contract position in Ajman. As a Welder, you will be responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints, determining the appropriate welding techniques, and using various tools and equipment to join metal parts together.

Requirements:

• Must be a Malayalee with a valid biometric passport
• Proficiency in welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and arc welding
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Physically fit and able to work in various conditions (i.e. heat, confined spaces)
• Previous experience as a welder is not required but is preferred
• Willingness to work on a contract basis with provided accommodation

Responsibilities:

• Study blueprints and technical drawings to determine the appropriate welding techniques for each project
• Clean and prepare metal surfaces for welding by removing rust, debris, or other impurities
• Use various tools and equipment such as grinders, cutters, and plasma torches to join metal parts together
• Monitor the welding process to ensure the proper temperature, pressure, and speed are maintained
• Inspect completed welds for quality assurance and make necessary repairs or adjustments if needed
• Follow all safety protocols at all times while working with potentially hazardous materials
• Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively

Salary:

The salary for this contract position is 1100$ per month.
