Job summary

Sundus in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Welder for outsourcing (1 year, renewable based on performance and business needs). The role requires 3+ years in welding/fabrication and hands-on MIG/TIG welding skills. You will read technical drawings, set up components and welding machines per specifications, and ensure product conformity while adhering to OHSE standards.

English communication is required. Working days are 5–6 days, with manufacturing duties in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Skills

• Must be able to communicate in English(written/spoken).
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in welding / fabrication line.
• Mechanical knowledge with the ability to make decisions regarding products conformity to standards.

• Reviews and interprets technical drawings and standard operating procedures of works required for MIG/TIG Welding operations.
• Makes appropriate use of proper tools, measuring instruments, gages, process sheets and operating manuals to assure the welding machine uptime and product quality output.
• Established the designated jigs and fixtures to achieve best fitting of parts and materials for welding works.
• Sets up the welding machines to assure the most effective and efficient welding process.
• Performs the welding on parts and materials in the most skilful manner, e.g. horizontal, vertical or overhead directions.
