Job summary

global youth-careers is seeking a Web Developer / Web Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain modern, responsive, and scalable web applications. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of web development principles, programming concepts, data structures, and software architecture.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern web development technologies.
• Familiarity with React, Vue, Angular, Next.js, or similar technologies.
• Understanding of backend development, RESTful APIs, databases, and web services.
• Familiarity with SQL and/or NoSQL databases and data integration concepts.
• Knowledge of Git, version control, software testing, debugging, and CI/CD practices.
• Understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, web accessibility, security, and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, deployment tools, or container technologies is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate with technical and cross-functional teams.
• Strong attention to code quality, maintainability, usability, and performance.
• Proactive mindset with an interest in emerging web technologies and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
