Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in computer science or related field.
• 3 years of web development experience.
• Strong knowledge of HTML and browser standards.
• Experience with JavaScript, XML, ASP, VBScript, and other web languages desirable.
• Experience with design tools such as Photoshop/Fireworks or similar.
• Proficiency with web content management and standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate web content area and enable content owners to provide needed content in a timely manner.
• Monitor and maintain the website for content currency and standards adherence.
• Train content managers, faculty and staff in web technologies and related topics.
• Develop and maintain manuals and documentation for the web team.
• Advise on design, upgrades, and security for Internet and Intranet."
• Monitor web use, server performance, and web accessibility.
• Lead training on new web technologies.
• Supervise interns and volunteers.
• Suggest changes to improve web development workflow.
